Materials

  • Super bulky yarn - 450 meters
  • Hooksize 8.0
  • Needle
  • Scissors
  • Wooden dowel (I used 100cm length, but I would recommend to wait until you know how wide your work will be)
  • Final size (depending on yarn used and hooksize): 76cm wide and 80cm high

Abbreviations (US Terms)

  • Sc – single crochet
  • St - stitch
  • Ch – chain
  • Bo – Bubble stitch
  • Dc – double crochet
  • ( ) - Repeat what's between ( )

This pattern is worked from the bottom up. The turning chains at the beginning of each row do not count as a stitch. This pattern is worked in rows.

Bobble stitch

To crochet the bobble stitch, you will have to yarn over, insert your hook into the next stitch, yarn over and pull through 2 loops on the hook. 2 loops remain on the hook. Yarn over again, insert hook into the same stitch, yarn over and pull through 2 loops on your hook. Now you have 3 loops on your hook. Continue until you have 6 loops.

Then you will yarn over again and pull through 5 loops and yarn over again and pull through the last 2 loops on the hook.

Some people prefer a pattern picture for pieces like that. In my Etsy shop you will find the full written pattern.

Have fun!
